The 2025 Northeast Regional Acoustics Symposium and Career Workshop will be held on April 22 from 8:30 am to April 23 at 1:00 pm at the Holloway Commons Building at the University of New Hampshire. Registration for the event is free and includes lunch both days. Rooms are available at the Durham Holiday Inn (walking distance to campus) at a reduced rate of $133/night plus tax using the code ACU (select “group rate” on the website). Parking at UNH will be free during the event. We will have several networking events during both days of our event, including an evening social (cash bar) on April 22.
The first day of the event will showcase acoustics research via oral presentations and posters, and we welcome abstract submissions (due by March 24, 2025) showcasing active research from all areas of acoustics and career levels (undergraduate student, graduate student, academia, industry, defense, etc.). Students can apply for a limited number of student travel awards up to $250 to offset travel expenses.
The second day of the event will highlight career opportunities in acoustics via short presentations from employers about their organizations and round-table discussions. Career representatives interested in participating will receive more information with specifics related to their participation. Career representatives can also request a vendor table for the event.
