Glen Rice is a part of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Office of Coast Survey and Hydrographic Systems and Technology Branch (HSTB). Mr. Rice comes to HSTB from working with the Integrated Ocean and Coastal Mapping Center where he focused on seafloor acoustic backscatter from hydrographic multibeams, and also on other sources of data for NOAA charts. He previously served aboard the NOAA Hydrographic Ships Fairweather and Rude as a NOAA CORPS officer. Mr. Rice has a B.S. in Physics and and an M.S. in Ocean Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He is currently working on his Ph.D. part time at CCOM.
