Spatial and Temporal Occurrence of Preformed Nitrate Anomalies in the Subtropical Ocean
Adam Smyth

Adam is a Master’s student majoring in oceanography with Robert Letscher as his advisor. His research involves the use of data from biogeochemical Argo profiling floats to determine the reoccurrence, spatial extents, and seasonality of preformed nitrate anomalies in the global subtropical ocean. This research is important as it will provide insight into the not yet fully explained mechanisms of preformed nitrate anomaly formation.
