UNH Observatory
All are welcome to this free, two-day immersion into astronomy and space for astronomers and space explorers of all ages and education levels. Heidi Hammel, PhD, will kick off the festival with the keynote lecture. Join us afterwards for laser pointer talks under the stars and observing of the night sky at the observatory. We’ll be looking at the moon, Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and many beautiful deep sky objects such as galaxies, star clusters and nebulae. Come back on October 5 for the full day and also for Ocean Discovery Day's Public Open House with continuous shuttle service in between the two free events. Explore scientific mysteries from the seafloor to the stars! More at: marine.unh.edu/ODD
