Northeast Regional Environmental Acoustics - Symposium

> Monday, May 2nd:
The Symposium is in-person and will consist of two keynote speakers, oral presentations, and poster presentations. Anyone with an interest in reporting acoustics research (in progress or completed) are encouraged to submit an abstract. Presentations are not required; anyone with an interest in environmental acoustics is encouraged to attend as a participant. 
 
Keynote Speakers:
Ian Agranat, founder and CEO of Wildlife Acoustics, Inc., the leading global supplier of bioacoustics technology including sonic and ultrasonic recorders and analysis software for the automated monitoring of wildlife such as birds, frogs, bats and other vocal animals for government agencies, scientists and environmental consultants worldwide. 
 
Dr. Thomas Drake, director of the Office of Naval Research, Ocean Battlespace Sensing. 
 
> Tuesday, May 3rd:
The Career Workshop is an opportunity for students and early career professionals to meet and learn about possible career paths associated with the field of acoustics, including industry, technology, federal sector, and academia.
 
Breakfast and lunch provided both days. 
 
Admission is free, but registration is required.
 
Registration open until April 15, 2022.
